"Environmentally
conscious consumers all over the world have made it clear
to businesses and government that sustainable practices are
a requirement, not an option - in today's greener global marketplace."
Joan Sawicki, Minister of Environment, Lands & Parks,
and Minister responsible for the Green Economy.
Building sustainable products means starting at the micro
level.
Stream takes into consideration importanct factors such as
soil structure, nutrients, pH and C:N levels and microbial
content.
Using high-quality, composted soil that is naturally rich
with microbial components is important for a sustainable long-term
soil and plant management program. A sustainable soil eco
system increases yields, improves plant and soil health, reduces
input costs and greatly improves the strength and vitality
of the environment.
